    Hi there,

I feel a bit silly posting such a simple question when everyone here seems to know a lot about computers and I'm a self-confessed computer dummy. But would be grateful for help!

I have a Mac Pro for the last few months but have no idea how to use half the things on it and the result is it takes longer to do everything and it seems to me little is simple enough for simple people like me.

My questions is : I use the Preview application to view PDF's and so on. But the window is ridiculously small. It seems to be on some preset size but I have gone through the various menus and cannot find a way to make it bigger.

Is it possible to increase the size? It's not pleasant to read it at the minute, I have to keep using zoom and then I have to scroll across to read everything. Would love to have it the same size as the Pages window for example. Is it possible?

    Thanks for any help...

Try clicking on the green button at the top left corner. You could also just drag the bottom right corner of the window to whatever size you want.
If it's the PDF opening up too zoomed out every time, you can make it open at a set scale by going to Preview>Preferences>PDF and clicking the Use scale of button.

Cheers Budding, the bottom righthand corner did the job!

I had tried to drag the sides but they didn't work. So now I have a larger screen and the green button now works, moving between the smaller and the enlarged size.

Great stuff, that makes things easier. :D Was trying to read the Mac Book Pro Users Guide, and it was too small to read!
