    How to check out specs on the G4?

    Hi how do you check the specs on the G4? Where do you go to see? thanks!

    Well, if you want to know what you have in your machine (what G4 btw, the G4 is a processor that appeared in all Mac lines) just go to the Apple menu (top left corner), About this Mac, More Info. That shows the System Profiler, where you can find information about all your hardware (and some of the software even).

    There's also: http://support.apple.com/specs/

    Either browse to your exact model or put your serial number in the serial number field (under the search field on the right) and it will find exactly what model you have and show you the specs. But this will be the unmodified specs of course, if you need to know exactly what is in your computer right now System Profiler is what you need.
