    Is there a way to add usb 3 port to macbook ( aluminium version ) ?

    an older machine like that? no...

    hopefully on newer machines with Thunderbolt, someone will eventually make a Thunderbolt USB3 adapter, which would be nice since Thunderbolt is so much faster than USB3... it should be possible, but I haven't seen one yet!
