Okay so I want to make this thread for people to post how they get there Live Apple event updates, that's if you watch/read/listen to it live. I figured if I start this today we can get some for people to check out tomorrow.
I usually check out www.macrumors.com and watch Bwana from www.bwana.tv stream live on ustream.

    So post what you got!

I keep with Engadget, but this time around I'm in class during that time. I'll be able to check up on it around 12:15 tomorrow!

Last year, either at the apple conference, or at another liveblogging event, engadget went down. Which sucked hard.

So now I generally use gizmodo. Seems that theres less people, so its refreshable more easily.

But yea, usually I'll check both gizmodo and engadget, as they will have different pictures, and sometimes different info.

Wouldn't it really suck if the "confirmed" announcement tomorrow was just a rumor that didn't happen? :D I hope that's not the case. But I'm always suspicious of said "confirmed reports", until they are confirmed by the manufacturer in question.
Thanks for this thread, I was just wondering earlier how I could get updates. :)

I have a hatred of Gizmodo, so yeah :D.

It is actually quite amazing how many leaks Apple's giving out these days. Makes watching the keynote a little less entertaining. Its like, just a re-assurance of what we were speculating. Its been like that for the past year or so now. iPods, MacBook "Lite" (turned to the Air), new MacBooks now (casings already leaked). The last real surprise announcement was iPhone in Macworld 2007.

Well considering that there are a LOT of people who go into making a product, im actually suprised their arnt more leaks.

And I wouldn't say its apple thats giving out the leaks.

Yeah I think most of all the leaks come from the factory's.

No, I'm sure Apple doesn't want to. The thing is, there have been more leaks than previously in the past. And yeah, it seems mostly from factories lately now.

I think the best place tomorrow is Engadget. They've been all over apple announcements in the past to the point that it annoys many windows users. :p
I've got Viigo on my Blackberry with an RSS channel feed from Engadget so I'm set wherever I happen to be. :)

You gotta consider that times have changed. Almost every cell phone out there has a camera nowadays, digital cameras are cheap, and people can take a picture, upload it, and then delete before someone can even check them.

This has all happened in like the past year, maybe two. So yea, thas why im suprised.

I'm not sure if macrumors is doing it live :| I like them better then gizmodo, gizmodo always makes stupid comments about stuff. Maybe engadget or slashgear.

Gizmodo. :) Automatic refreshing is useful when I'm trying to do homework.
