By default, BootCamp names the Windows partition "Untitled". Is there a way to rename this partition?

If you did a NAT partition, then you can rename it just like how you rename files on a Mac.

If you did a NTFS partition, then you can't rename it because your Mac can't write to it.

    You mean FAT partition?

It's not that big of a deal if I can't rename it. I'm sure the final BootCamp version will allow you to change the name of the partition.

Yeah it's FAT, spelling error .... sorry!!! I don't even know if they'll let you do it in the final to be honest, as it can't write to a NTFS partition ... but who knows!

Just rename your C drive when you are in windows, when you boot into OS X again you will see the name on the HD changed from untitled to what ever you changed to...

Is there any performance decrease when using a FAT32 partition instead of a NTFS partition?

Depends. I believe NTFS will let you set larger block sizes, which can increase efficiency if you use lots of large files. I think it's a tad bit faster, but probably no real noticible difference.
