I don't know if my natural body oils are really acidic or something but my last two sets of palm rests started developing black splotches after about a month of use. Now that I'm on my 3rd, is there anyway to prevent this? It looks so pretty now

    Wash your hands?

Over a year of use, and mine haven't come close to becoming discolored.

I've had mine 6 months and no discoloration. I tend to wash my hands before using it.
