Whenever I open firefox, and only firefox, some weird little box opens up right before the browser opens that shows a giant icon of firefox with an arrow pointing to a folder with an A on it? It lets me drag the giant firefox icon...but i dont get it. When i downloaded msn it did that once, but now it doesnt. Firefox still does.

Did you eject the FireFox "drive" after you put it in the Applications Folder? It's a file that has a picture of a drive, you can drag it to the trash, or open Finder to eject it.

yeah, you may want to review some instructions on proper Mac OS installation. It seems you're running Firefox from the install location (.dmg) instead of properly dragging the .app to you Application folder.

hmm perhaps im making it sound too confusing lol. This is my second day on a mac so please bare with me :). Um...well i eject the drive whenever im done using firefox. I just dont know why that window always opens up when i start the browser. That does happen to msn and I did the exact same thing when i downloaded and installed that. At least i think so
