I'm trying to find info on this version :G0G00LL/A
but end up with crap on google.
How do you find the specs and info Macbookpro's?
I picked it up on apple's refurbished site for 1699
with 2.53, a 128gb SSD drive,& 4gb ram.
I guess this is late last years model, and i really wanted the new battery

Wherever you're buying the macbook it should tell you the specs of it.
You don't need a model number to determine what kind of macbook it is. The newer ones use different processor speeds.
For example only the new 13" uMBP uses 2.26ghz and up. The 15" also had speed bumps. -

There's also "About This Mac" under the Apple menu. You can also try going to www.everymac.com. They have detailed specs on nearly every Mac ever made. There's also a program called MacTracker that also has detailed information on all Macs.
