    Hey Daniel!

To even find someone willing to trade you their macbook for whatever you got, well...you must really have something to give in that trade and it sounds like your getting a good deal.

Anyways, 1.83Ghz and 2Ghz in terms of speed is marginal, so like if you encoded an mp3 file really lets say it a minute and 30 seconds with 1.83Ghz whereas the 2.0Ghz version would encode it in a minute and 15 seconds. As you can see its marginal, and you're not really gonna notice the difference unless you constantly benchmark or something. But hey, these are dual core. ;)

The 2.0Ghz model also has SuperDrive (dvd burning), I dunno if its even an option to upgrade the cd-r/dvd on the 1.83Ghz model, I never checked.

So really the difference is marginal processing speed and a dvd burner.

I own the 2.0Ghz model and I simply love it, and I think you would enjoy it greatly as well if you choose to get one (regardless of 1.83ghz model or 2.0 ghz model)

    Cheers.
