    Help: Shift+q is not working

    Hi. I'm a new mac user who just purchased my MBP last week. I noticed something today while typing, Shift+Q does not work. I wanted to get a capital Q so i tried shift+Q and nothing came out. the q button works fine on its own and shift works with all other letters except q. not sure what is work. please advice thanks
