As the titles say, I need some help on accessing the files shared on my network (which are on Windows 7 Desktop).

I just exchanged my Macbook pro today because the last one had some white spots on the black screen bezel. On the last notebook I was able to access my shared files by going to " Connect to server " and writing " smb://(computer name) ".

Now with this, I dunno what I am missing, but it keeps saying:

Connection Failed, There was an error connecting to the server. Check the server name or IP address and try again.

Now I know my server name is correct and it can be accessed from my other laptops (windows).

Maybe I am missing something, so any guidance will appreciated :)

    PS: I already did a re-install lol :D
