    I'm confused between 2.2ghz and 2.4ghz models.I 'm a student of graphic design.I don't play game,just use Adobe suite and web.Is the 2.2ghz model can cover my need?I think of 2 opinions:
    1/ Buy a 2.4Ghz MBP
2/ Buy a 2.2Ghz MBP and upgrade to 4Gb of Ram.
Which is the best choice for me?Please help. I need laptop badly for school stuff.

Pick number 2. And see if you can upgrade the RAM yourself. Apple swindles you with their prices.

I think a 2.2Ghz should be more than enough, with 4GB ram. Most of us will max out on the cpu because we don't want to upgrade the cpu down the road or we want the laptop to last for quite sometimes.

Definitely go with #2. The 0.2 GHZ difference is negligible, especially if you plan to add more RAM. The only reason to upgrade to the 2.2 from anything lower is more L2 Cache, but the 2.2 and 2.4 have the same cache (4MB).

Doesn't the 2.4 have an additional 128MB of discrete video memory, too? Thats why I bought it over the 2.2...

yeah, but he doesn't need it for his usage. And the 128MB 8600M GT is pretty damn good as well

Since you don't play games, you probably won't need the extra 128mb of DVM.

A 2.2 ghz processor with another 4gigs of Ram behind it should really fly! Take the second one for sure.

Yes, the 2.2 GHz MacBook Pro will suit you better (and save you some money, considering you don't need the extra VRAM of the 8600M GT in the 2.4 GHz version).

I suggest you get more RAM from stores such as Newegg.com, where RAM is much cheaper than what Apple charges.
