Hi guys. So I finally went to the Apple store in Manhattan on 5th Avenue and shelled out about $2,200 for my new MBP and iPod.

Tonight I was trying to install Windows via Bootcamp, and now I'm having problems when I try to boot up.

I downloaded and installed Bootcamp. I then ran it, and set the Windows partition to 32GB, and then I burned the Drivers CD.

After I did all of that it told me to insert my Windows CD to begin the Windows installation. So I inserted the CD, clicked the button, it shut down, and then started up again.

However, when it started up, I got to the lightblue screen, heard the CD spinning, then it ejected the CD and nothing happened for a long time. Eventually a black screen with white writing came up saying something like no readable media, insert bootable disk and press any key.

Luckily I had read another thread before and someone suggested to press the Option key during bootup to get back into Tiger, so after a couple restarts, I held down the Option key and then got a picture of a hard drive with Macintosh written below it. I clicked on that and it got me back into Tiger. Before all I got was the light blue screen and nothing.

After I got back into Tiger, I opened up back the Bootcamp Assitant and deleted the partition for Windows, actually I merged it back, so the hard drive is like it was before, with just one partition.

Whenever I boot up now, unless I hold down th Option key, nothing happens. I thought merging back the partitions would help.

Can you guys please help! I'm really bummed as I just spent a lot of money on this, and it's almost 2am and I'm really tired and frustrated. Any ideas? :(

Go into systems preferences, then to 'Startup Disk' and select your Mac HD.
