    I had some very important chats on my Chat Transcript Viewer..using Adium..and i accidentally deleted them all. Not knowing, i did too many other actions to use the undo button :( ..so now i have recovered files from my trashcan that are all in semi-code.

    ex:
    <((message sender="pistonheat30" time="2007-12-31T17:21:10-06:00">
    hello
    </message))>

    does anyone know how to recover these? i dont have a drive for time machine.

    Can they be copied to the Adium folder where it would save them normally, then opened in Adium?

    Animalcracker, I have a friend who has a mac and just recently upgraded to Leopard and doesn't have a drive either for time machine, but she merely uses blank discs to burn her backups onto. You should probably start doing that.
