Just recently there was a report on a blog of an individual who is currently trying to build a great wall of Mac Mini boxes (don't ask me why I dont really know) he went to order another large order but was denied, now the blogger also said this happened once before, and it was RIGHT before a Mac Mini refresh, anyways the retailer he buys from said that after labor day he can place a large order again.

What does this mean, well first off it means its highly possible that after labor day, that there will be revisions made to Apple products, theres really no real solid idea which lines will be updated but all of them seem to be potential candadiates (except mac pro).

Anyways, point is for those looking at an MB or MBP it might be safe just to wait a little bit longer at least until labor day.

How much does this info merit? Well Apple generally gives their resellers advance notice not to place large orders before a product refresh as if they did allow them, the resellers would have all but old stuff.

I think the iMac and Mac Mini are getting an upgrade. These are the two prime candidates, followed by the MacBook Pro (although I doubt it at this time).

I'm quite surprised to see Mac Mini mentioned in upgrade talks, but it does seem likely if there's an order stop. I hope it's more than just a cpu change for those though, but we'll see.

As for other candidates, I'd say the Macbook Pro is the most likely one. Macbook and iMac are possible, but not as likely.

I think the macbook pro because Apple will have to incorporate Core 2 Duo into their line of laptops sometime before Santa Rosa comes out.

Yeah, it looks like Sony has also cleared most of what they have in the SZ line; I see there is only one model left besides the customizable SZ240.
Making way for the new Meroms it seems.

I am really hoping the Macbook gets Merom and dare hope a possible real GPU, though not likely. If not then I may be hard pressed on which to buy, since I do not want anything over 13" screen.

I kinda wouldn't doubt something like that, rather than giving the MB a merom right away in order to sweeten the deal they'd get it it's own dedicated GPU. Seems like a fair trade, and in turn the MBP would go ahead and get the Merom core.

If they added an upgrade like Merom or that new Intel GPU and we have are warranty still, and needed the Macbook to be fixed, and if they needed to replace it would we get a replacement with the upgrades or the same spec kind.

Labor Day is the first Monday in September every year. It falls on 9/4 this year.
