The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    exactly what i'm trying to say. there are currently no real virus on mac but just don't do careless things. be vigilant!

    and thats a great comfort knowing even a virus require you to type a password :) before doing any harm (is this is still how it is done when you're logged in as admin right?).

    I am not sure if that worm still required a password. I honestly never run as admin so I have forgotten how the passwords work in that mode. Everyone should run as limited on OS X.
