Has Apple had any type of Holdiay Deals/Sales in the past?

I'm going to be buying one of the new macbooks, but wanted to know if I should wait till late November, or early December for any specials they might offer?

Have they done so in the past?

Apple prices stay the same until the next big thing is released. It's that way with iPods, and it's that way with Macbooks.

Apple never really offers "sale" prices. Your best bet is to BE (or pretend to be) a student and get a free iPod or printer when you purchase a new computer. This is a "Back to School" offer done once a year. The student discount saves you between $50 and $100 in most cases on top of getting the free gift.

Otherwise, buy used/refurbished, or get something un-opened and re-sold on ebay and other auction sites/forums.

    Good luck.
