When start it,the screen just have code information and flame screen saver. After during time standby, it will back to this screen save

When connect it to computer, iTunes doesnt connect automatically as iPhone 3G or iPad. When try to open iTunes, it automatically connect to server and recognize as iPhone; it also recommend to update new version. So may be Apple will update new version of iTunes when iPhone 4G official release

When i see it in "Hardware overview", the iPhone 4G is recognized as BRCM2046 Hub, also as "Apple device",USB chip by Boardcom manufactured. However, USB version is 1.0 with 12Mb/s . Serial number is 002608C89DCA, when they check in Apple Serial Number,it not available.

I am from Vietnam, seeing this as a scam or something. Likely to happens a fake China model.

Actually, there was a leak before, can't remember but I think it was about a month ago. Some Apple dev or something left his iPhone 4G on a seat in a bar, and it was found by someone else, then got leaked to Engadget (I think it was engadget). It looked just like this.

If this is indeed an official one, it looks a lot nicer than the older iPhone. I like that the new one isn't curved like the old one, just looks more sleeker really..

Have people been stuck under a rock? This prototype isn't a scam. It was released by Gizmodo about a month ago and this is the second leak, which is now in Vietnam.

i sure this leak is offical, because the iPhone was released by Engadget just have the xx Gb, but at this version, you can see it is 16G :D

May be USB recognize it as usb 1.0 as because of driver. Every prototype have the same issues

My reaction to the new SIM was similar to that of micro-usb. A solution in search of a problem. Yeah, so it's smaller. Not by much in terms of requisites of size characteristics. The real reason seems more to require the purchase of new hardware.

What? It's smaller so it takes up less space in the phone, It looks to be about %50 smaller, which is a lot. I'm surprised it took them this long to come out with it in the first place. You don't need to buy a new anything.

None of those things you mention make it "awesome". I see no real improvement in it and it looks like just another attempt at change for the sake of change.

Will I agree that there is nothing "awesome" about it, I don't think it was changed for the sake of change. It is a lot smaller which with phones getting smaller the wast of space the old sim cards where, is unnecessary, everything but the metallic part you see on a sim card is just plastic. The new cards are pretty much just the chip with some plastic to hold it in.

I feel like people follow the crowd when it comes to things like this.

When engadget first reported that this was fake on their website, everyone made fun of it in the comments saying how how hideous this "knock-off" was, how Fugly the black seams are, etc.

Now, that we are getting closer to the unveiling and more and more facts are proving this to be the real model, people completely change their minds and say "OMG this thing is a beauty!"

Afterall, in the end, it still a chinese knock off, right? I mean, you said it was anyways, right....

But wait, you're telling me you're going to get it when it comes out? lol... fanboyism never ends.

*I have a feeling apple purchased this knockoff model and was not apple designed.

    I give it a 2/10 for external-design innovations and a 1/10 for those who follow the brain-sucking-mind-changing-apple fanboyism-website-Engadget/Gizmodo.

Your new iphone now looks like every other phone out there..
