Thought all would be interested in my results from trying to load up Guild Wars with CrossOver using the MBP listed in my signature.

The game installed just fine, booted up faster then on my p4 desktop, however the title graphics and log in box were missing. All that showed up on my screen was the cinematic background and the mouse cursor. Also the cinematic itself didn't look very good. The edges were very sharp and blocky. The textures didn't look too good, and the water effects sucked. However I'm assuming this is a result from the lack of DirectX.

    Cheers.

Probably old news, but I installed Guild Wars on the 2.4GHz 15" MacBook Pro ... using BootCamp 1.3 and XP Home ... it plays great.
