I loved Chrome when I used it on my PC. Firefox just eats to much CPU.

The current firefox (3.0?) has some kind of memory leak or something that makes it run really slow. Try 3.5 beta, which fixes the leak, it is lightning fast.

Thanks for the info, I just downloaded it and the scrolling is much smoother. I'll have to play around with it a bit. I wasn't that impressed with Chrome and have been sticking with Safari because of the scrolling issue with FF.

I used to use Chrome exclusively on my Dell, but it has all kinds of problems with Flash, so I quit using it as much. I really like Firefox 3.5, but it currently does not support some things like chat on Facebook. On my Mac, I used to use Safari 4 beta, but it was inconsistent in page loading. So now I'm using Firefox 3.0.10 pretty much exclusively. It's okay, but I miss the days when it was easily the best available.

Yea Safari is pretty awesome contender when it comes to web browsers for mac os x. I just went to Firefox because of the one little tiny option choose whether I want to open or save a file when i click download.

I tried FF 3.5 and Chrome but they just don't work as well as Safari for me.

Well Considering Chrome is in Alpha stages and only meant for developers it won't work as good.
