Im using an old linksysnrouther with b band only and use a paraphrase and wep code but on my mbp it asks for a 40/128 code or something. Also, maybe its just me but the screen doesn't look as sharp or vivid as my dell e1505 wxga screen.

To find the manufactured week, it is located within your serial number, found on the bottom of the packaging box. It starts with W87XX. The first two numbers after the 7 is your manufacturing week.

Bah, I forget shortcuts whenever I'm on my PC :p. Use Command + Shift + 3, that should take a desktop screenshot. But if you're talking about your screen having a yellow tint, a desktop screenshot won't show it. Nor will a photograph, actually.

Yeah, well taking a desktop screenshot won't show brightness, so the only way I can think of is to bring the MacBook Pro to the Apple Store and compare it with other MBPs there.

The problem is the blacks on my screen, i just put the same picture on my dell and apple and the blacks adn shadows are much darker on the dell but too light on the apple, is there a way to adjust the contrast or something?

the default display profile (color LCD) is off on the new MBPs, it looks yellowish and colors are off. you will have to calibrate the display or search online for profiles that others have posted.
