So perhaps I should've read the getting started pdf and read the tutorial more thoroughly, but you know how it is with getting a new toy to play with (even though I've had it for weeks) and wanting to dig right in :p

...so anyway, is there a way to show multiple tracks in notation view?
Failing that, how do I combine multiple tracks and still preserve notation view?

i.e. I have 2 tracks, and seeing the notation view of only one at a time doesn't do me much good (I'm only reading 1/2 the music after all)...how do I see both?

It's funny how I should know these being a musician and having a MBP. But really I don't. And there's the question: why don't you use a proper notation/recording program?

PM me if you want to get some :p

Because this was really just a spur of the moment whim (one of those, "oh I like that piece, I'll go edit it a bit to my liking" things) as well as to test out Garageband. I don't really have the time or interest to mess around with music too much to justify paying for or even downloading a free recording program.
