    Hey ive never owned a Mac, but im seeing that right now they have some pretty nice hardware in their MBP so i was wondering if i can do any gaming on Macs with their OS installled.
    could i install XP if i wanted to game?
    probabluy a stupid question but im a stupid person so they kinda go together.

    Yes, gaming is possible on Macs. The MBP is pretty decent for gaming via Boot Camp. Browse the forum and you'll find many threads about this topic, check this out.

    Right now, the most popular PC games are usually ported to Mac. Sine the EA announcement at WWDC, more games will be coming.

    I kinda wish that Steam would make its way to Mac, but it's never gonna happen.

    i really want a mac, if steam was on it, even an unstable beta i'd be all over it. but alas i'm stuck playing on a pos 3 year old alienware. i don't want to have to use bootcamp. it's all or nothing for me i guess.

    that sounds like an awesome program. what are the performance reductions though. if i can get 40-50 fps in cs:s on medium settings at 1440x900 i'm ordering a mac tomorrow
