    So i've got mac book pro 15 with i7 (2500), 8gb ram, ati 6770 and 1050p screen.

I've installed w7 via bootcamp, installed all drivers, updated catalyst to 12.3

I installed skyrim and used all maximum settings, except shadows, they are on high (not very high)

Everything looks ok, but sometimes i face real shuttering issue. While fps can be 30-40 it still lags like . What can it be?

Does mbr known for overhear and throttling issues? Any suggestions?

Have you looked up benchmarks for skyrim? I think you're just running into generic performance issues because your settings are too high for your hardware.

The 6770 is a solid mobile graphics card, but it compares to a desktop 6670, which means that it's going to have a rough time with skyrim at max settings in 1680*1050. Try medium settings and see if performance stabilizes.

I don't uderstand why it lags on 40 fps, while in other places its smooth even on 30. Will make a proof video.

Turn AA off, then you should be able to run it in full hd. I do the same with Assassins creed Brotherhood, mafia 2, etc, on my good old hd 4670. Higher resolution makes the game look better than a lower resolution with AA, and it gives you higher fps aswell.

If you are also using Bootcamp I suggest a fan program and also a graphic card throttling program. Stuttering can also be caused by your notebook being too hot to handle the high graphic settings.

Sometimes the average frame rate will seem high, even though there are substantial dips in it...

lower the res a bit? I play Skyrim with Wineskin (which has a few minorly annoying mouse issues), or it also works really good with the Cider wrappers floating around... but if I run with max options at 1280x800 it runs very smoothly in almost all situations... My GPU is a 6750, but its pretty close to the same performance wise as the 6770. I have not played it on Windows to compare the performance though.

Since wineskin is a wrapper, does that mean it would pretty much run any windows program?

theoretically.. sure... in actuality .. no, not yet, because Wine is still a work in progress. Trying to replicate undocumented Windows APIs isn't easy. Many things will run... many will not. A few things will never be able to run, because its implementing actual Windows APIs and not emulating Windows... so things like device drivers and various other things cannot work. Many things do work nicely in it... a few companies use it for their mac version programs... mostly smaller companies with special software, not major name things. A few larger companies do use it, or are starting to use it (or are testing it out). CD Projekt recently released The Witcher Mac version on Steam which is a Wineskin port. Its much easier for end users when the company makes it and supports it themselves over the user having to try to do it or use some 3rd party hobby wrapper themselves.
