    Is there a player simliar to GOM player on the mac so I can download movies from torrents and play them? They will mostly be wmv, avi, rar, mpg files.

    I personally recommend MPlayer OS X because it's a bit more simplier in my opinion, however I'm very familiar with the key shortcuts the program uses, so newer users might have a little trouble adjusting.

    However Mplayer OS X has better post processing abilities than that of VLC. Regardless of that both are excellent programs.
