First, buy saying Vista ultra OS, you mean vista ultimate right? Are you installing it in Vmware? How did it crash? Which laptop/comptuer are you using?

For your iphone, what are you trying to sync and what did you use to sync with?

Maybe you should have read up on Entourage before you purchased it...

And what crashed, Vista or VMWare? Just because something crashes once doesn't kill it...

Are you bootcamping and using the boot camp partition as virtual machine? What crashed in your windows? Is it booting or are you getting the bsod? My machine did not crash but i have the audio popping issue. I hope this will be resolved in vista sp2 or w7.

I tried all these and the audio popping issue still persists, i updated gpu driver, wireless driver, audio driver and the problem still persists. I now have the latest april dated gpu driver, audio driver and wireless driver. I'm puzzled with this problem.

Having trouble adapting to the Mac

I wanted to put windows on the Mac just in case, so I purchased vista and fusion and used bootcamp and installed without a problem, I’m not a gamer and only wanted to install a couple of windows apps. And I did, this all lasted 3 weeks until I updated the OS and my Norton anti-virus and it crashed with the blue screen of death so I left it alone and figured I’d forget windows for now and just use the mac OS so then I purchased windows 2008 Mac media edition so I could sync between my iphone and this mac ‘s ical calendar and that’s not working, it just doesn’t sync my calendar which is important to me, so I said screw it and I would sell the retail’s of windows vista ultra, fusion VMware 2.0 and the windows mac 2008 media edition that I have bought to make my life easy on this NEW macbook pro 2.66 , I’ve done everything possible to work with a new OS and I’m just not getting anything working here, I tried selling the OS vista here on notebook forums in the buyer and seller thread and had problems adding pictures and more from the mods getting on my back about certain specifics ,

I did what I use to do in windows with copying pictures from photobucket and couldn’t copy and paste here with this MAC, I’m really getting disappointed and discouraged at how I used to work with this

Wait what? You bought VMWare Fusion even though you bootcamped Windows Vista "Ultra" while "Windows Mac 2008 Media Edition" doesn't work because you're trying to sync your iPhone with your Macbook even though that should be done through iTunes? And you can't copy/paste a picture from Photobucket even though that's just technically copying a link and has nothing to do with the operating system?

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you need to step back a bit, get some help with learning to use your computer, either through hiring a tutor or purchasing a book, and just generally start over.

This is how you sync an iPhone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386
And Photobucket works exactly the same, regardless of what operating system you're using.

Totally in agreement with Lithus above. Also, to make it a bit easier to understand exactly what's going on, kindly take those 7 lines that have no periods whatsoever (MASSIVE run-on), and split them up into actual sentences for next time, so we don't have to spend 3 minutes decoding what you're trying to say.

That's how we keep things accountable, at least in the bare minimum. We have no way to stop all scammers but to make them take photos, post more information helps reduce the likelihood of it. If you cannot follow the rules, simply don't post a sale thread, makes it easier for the B/S/T moderators too! Its not like they enjoy chasing people; they're merely keeping users safe.

I'm with Lithus... not sure what is going on there really... Bootcamp and Vmware? which were you using? You sync iCal to iPhones in iTunes along with everything else it syncs.

if your having trouble with copy and paste.. its CMD+C and CMD+V in OSX.. where its Ctrl instead of CMD in Windows...

I think he was referring to "copy and paste". With windows, right click-> copy and you can right click -> paste photobucket pictures to anywhere you want. The shortcut keys on windows are Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. The shortcut is different in Mac and maybe that's why the OP couldn't copy and paste.

Also.. copy and pasting the link into some programs such as office word 2007 in windows can make the image appear in the word document if you "copy and pasted" correctly.

Bootcamp drivers for windows is sometimes unstable thus there's a miniscule chance that it might cause BSODs and errors in Windows.

what is this "Windows 2008 for Mac" that you speak of? Are you talking about the MS Office suite for Mac?

Photobucket is a website. Its interface should be identical on any browser on any operating system. And also like others have said before, you can make your posts more readable (and thus get better help) if you end your sentences with a period ".".

That's normal for you to run into trouble when you're switching operating system. If you're not familiar with MacOS and don't want to learn it from scratch, Macbook and MacOS isn't for you. You'd better off getting a Windows laptop for a cheaper price. That way, you can save money and at the same time don't have to worry about these issues.

Can you post the BSOD error code?

Also are you referring to Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac for "Windows Mac edition"?

Is the "vista ultra" the "vista ultimate" operating system from Microsoft?

I don't know if you're trolling or not, but I'm going to put it more bluntly: There's nothing wrong with your computer, your operating system, or your software. You have absolutely no clue what you're doing, and in fact, you don't even know the actual names of the software you are using. There is no such thing as Vista "Ultra", it's Vista Ultimate, and "Windows for Mac 2008 Media Edition" is Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 Media Edition.

You should definitely NOT be installing operating systems with your current knowledge level. We cannot tell you what is "wrong" with your system or why your programs crashed without seeing what you're doing to them to make them crash.

Again, please attend some basic computer classes or get a friend to walk you through some steps in person.

Since you are getting blue screens are you running Window's (not via virtual machine). The OS X equivalent is a "Kernal Panic" and a prompt will pop up telling you you must restart your machine but the screen won't actually go blue (or change for the matter besides the prompt I mentioned earlier).

    To answer your questions.

Vista "Ultimate" blue screens when your computer sends a hardware signal to the OS that something has royally screwed up. You can't sync your "Mac 2008 media edition" with your iPhone/Macbook because I'm pretty sure this software package doesn't exist. Are you sure that's the correct name? Anyway all syncing with the iPhone is done through iTunes.

    -edit
aha, mystery solved, there is a "Mac Media edition" of MS Office. Is that what you are talking about?

SIR, I know the correct names if you really needed them spelled correctly to the T but I didn't think it was that important as to do so, But like I said I've been building computers since the apple 11c or the P2B ASUS Motherboard and thats as far back as you can go maybe 25 years for your information if you've been around that long,

You also make me laugh by saying if I'm trolling (what are you saying "trolling" I have a computer that has a partition with windows vista ultimate running inside VMware software that has a BSOD

and as for the OFFICE mac 2008 expression Media the garbage dose not sync

my ebay user name is justabrake and as you could see I bought it all in the last 5 weeks on ebay , I'm no troller just a user with a brand new notebook and all brand new retail software and I've been around and building computers since they first starting and selling computers and I've been to all computer shows in the beginning 25 years ago can you say the same for yourself,

I don't need this website to sell any of my stuff as I have a 100% feedback on ebay

I was just looking for some answers as to why 3 softwares and nothing but problems in this macbook and my syncing with my iphone I did not have this with a windows and my office 2003 pro and the first iphone #2 it all sync well ,

I'm just trying to find out why this is all happening,

Run windows Vista through boot camp and "throw away" OSX. Everything will be fine. You can sync your iphone through itunes on windows and you can use your microsoft office 2003 as well.

Look, if you want help, it's best to state your problem concisely, accurately, and with correct grammar. How are we supposed to help you with software problems if every post you make up a new name for the software. If you want help, I would drop the attitude that you are a computer expert with 25 years experience with more computer knowledge then all the newbies here. You are the one after all that is asking for help. There are many people here more than willing to help you solve your problem. Please show them a bit of courtesy.
