Which are you using for your virtualization needs? I used to use Fusion up until 2 days ago when I finally gave Parallels a trial run. Now I wish I had switched to Parallels sooner.

Parallels had major issues vs VMWare... up until version 6, then they passed up VMware and VMWare is currently playing catch up.

I've had Fusion 2.0 but then after hearing the good stories and seeing screen shots of some of the people using parallels I switched to Parallels 5.0... and now I'm at 6.0 and still love it. I've not even considered returning back to vmware.

*there is alot of good info in one of the stickies

i use fusion 3.0 because it does exactly what i need it to do. i also know that support (if ever needed), is going to be worth the time invested.

the only support for fusion was via their forums or you could pay for email support. You could create tickets and they will email you back but when I did that about a fusion compatibility problem with 64 bit thin print spooler service errors they told me to contact MS...which I did... they pointed back to vmware. I deleted the print spool service...eventually moved back to xp 32 bit just so I could print. Then switching to parallels and never looking back.

*actually, parallels might be the same way regarding support, but I've not had to find out yet.

But that was way back on fusion 2 and before win 7.

I haven't used any of them for 2 years. Back to that time I would say VMWare was definitely the choice because it supported graphics better . But for now, I heard that Parallels is no longer behind VMWare.

    +1 and +rep for doh123 :)

I have both products and Parallel 6 is the better product imho. Their GPU emulation is far superior to what Fusion offers and I haven't notice any stability issues running Win 7 64.
