I was in the library and there was this random person sitting across from me, who had a widescreen lenovo laptop on the desk. Anyways, I got up to go the bathroom when I clumsily tripped over his AC adapter wire, sending this laptop to the ground.

His laptop was on the edge of the table, wasnt too smart of him to do that.

But anyways, I apologized blah blah blah, and the thing was still working.

Then he says, "I think its only fair if I trip over your wire too, otherwise Im going to have to make your laptop fall as well" I thought to myself,
"AHAHAHAHHAHA" (in my head). So I allowed him to walk into the wire and of course with the magsafe, the plug popped out immediately, at which point I quickly grabbed my macbook pro and told him to sit down and shut up, in my mean voice.

Then he packed up and left...mustve been because of all the people laughing at him.

That is a pretty funny story. I would've made a laughing stock out of him if he was at where I study.

My magsafe adapter has saved my MBP from certain death over 100 times now. Hell my first week on the job in California it probably saved it over 100 times.

I hate the MagSafe connector :(

I pay for alot of my superbike parts by repairing damaged laptop connectors :D

Well, on the other hand, it's also nice for a laptop to be able to take a fall and be fine - props for the durability of the Thinkpad :)

I'm not sure I'd trust my MBP to take a fall from a desk and be in great shape. In fact, I know I wouldn't.

Well, Masterchef341 (anyone remember him? ;)) dropped his MBP on the floor once, and there was no problems. Of course, I don't recommend testing that again :p.

But yes, kudos to the Thinkpads for being built very well. Hope the quality stays though...

Some might have forgotten him :(. And some of the newer members may not have known him at all.
