Is there anywhere on the net where I can find full specifications of the parts used in MBA/MB/MBP? By full specs I don't mean this...

    http://www.apple.com/uk/macbookpro/specs.html

I want more details. :D Just want to see what they are putting into those notebooks.

Apple seems to like Fujitsu for HDD's and Matsh-i-ta for optical drives. Samsung RAM, oh, and processors by Intel. ;) :p :D

Do you mean those kinds of specs? Or what exactly?
Sorry I can't be of more help. :(

For example screen contrast ratio, brightness, various other little things. I guess apple doesn't like sharing such details.

notebookcheck.net should have more detailed display specs. Don't think they've tested the new 13"s yet, though.

I guess because they feel it's not pertinent to make a sale. :p

That's because Panasonic AKA Mat$hita is one of the few drive makers that makes 9.5mm optical drives, which the MB and MBP use. They're quite common on ThinkPads as well, which also use 9.5mm drives on some models. LG is the other maker of 9.5mm optical drives.
