Please specify which MBP you have and whether you use Boot Camp, Parallels, or Fusion.

    Thank you!

Boot Camp: 2:14 (add 5 minutes with Bluetooth off)
Parallels: 3:25 (same as OS X, but a little less due to processor usage).

I get about 3.5 hours on win7 with wifi on and bluetooth off with the June 2009 update MBP 15" (9600 GT 256MB). It can be pushed out to about 4.25 hours if you're really careful and turn off wifi as well as dim the screen and backlighting.

Real aggressive battery saving... Undervolting using RMClock, underclocking 9600, SSD, brightness set to the lowest, running only web browsers etc. Besides, I bought a brand new battery. My other one which is about 90% capacity does about 1:45... not good.

have you ever tried udervolting using nibitor? I have tried it but my windows crashed everytime i tried to read the bios. it would not even detect my bootable flash drive when i tried to back up my gpu bios.

That's it? I thought mbps are supposed to last up to 6-7 hours on OS X

no, i will have to recalibrate it. 4-5 hours? what mac do you have? the 13" pro? the 9400m increases battery life a lot on these machines. mine's locked on the 9600m gt.

Yep, that's it. Mine is a late 2008 though, so I don't have the higher capacity Mid 2009 machines that last 4-5 hours.

My UMBP can get about 2.5 hours in Windows 7 Side. That's in Power Saver mode with backlighting all the way down and just light web browsing. It's lower than what I would've expected. On OS X, I can get about 4-5 hours depending on what I do. Overall it's not too bad. Usually I switch back and forth between OS X and Windows 7 during the day so it could be better.

im still waiting the famous gpu switch for windows. even if it requires a windows restart, it doesnt matter. at least the functionality will be enabled. the 9400m runs so much cooler. even if it runs at 60c, its no problem. i've seen worse. btw, my temps have decrease to mid 60's after the recent bootcamp update. it's quite nice.
