I was thinking that exact thing. LOL.

Thanks for the link btw, now I don't have to use Mplayer anymore to watch wmv's.

Well, ultimately MS's main motivation is that it wants to see WMV become as popular a video format as possible, so even with a smaller number of Mac users, every user who can play WMV files counts.

Well, I am not how sure it is MS being nice. They just allowed Flip4Mac to make a decoder so they would not have to. Either way we win. Now you can play wmv and you don't need crappy Windows Media Player, which MS no longer makes for Apple, obviously.

    True, I suppose.

I hate .wmv though, .avi .divx .ogg .mkv .ogm, those are all much better to me. =S

I use MEdia Player Classic anyway, it beats QuickTime and WMP for me, WMP 11 isn't bad though, haven't used quicktime too much, but I didn't like the message I got on my uncle's mac with it...

"Upgrade for $x.xx to pro and THEN and only THEN can you make the video full screen!" <,<

    LOL.

Yeah, the full screen jest is a bit dumb, you paid for the OS, why are they making that software that comes with OS X, something you need to pay more for?

Anyways, I just 'fooled' mine and tricked it to show full screen. :)
