What do you mean flashing to a better GPU? Do you mean flashing the VBios?

the 9400m is integrated and only SOME dedicated cards can have the Vbios flashed to a higher spec. the 6770 to 6790 was most common for this

That is impossible. You can't flash a GPU's vBIOS and suddenly have an entirely different GPU. You can tweak the fan RPMs, core voltages, and other settings, but you will still have a non-upgradeable, tweaked 9400M in your laptop.

Even if you know what you're doing, I would strongly advise against flashing the vBIOS.

and since the 9400 is integrated right into the chipset and is NOT a dedcated GPU, you can NOT flash the Vbios in ANY IGP I am aware of.

You're pretty much stuck with the power of your GPU. You'd have to get a new notebook if you want any substantial benefits.
