    Edit: Not better than the "Gala 2" preview which features GPU acceleration on OSX for Nvidia chipsets found here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/gala/

    I'm running a movie on Hulu right now...no increase in temperature. little CPU usage, so far as I can tell. it's great.

    oh, and:
    would have liked to have had on my iDevices...but oh well.

    I thought that the new flash player doesnt support hardware acceleration?

    yep. go get it. just be sure to use their uninstaller to remove Gala 1 before installing Gala 2.
