    Hi everyone,

I recently noticed that my firefox finds a reason to crash on its whim most often than it was during the pre snow leopard era. Any one knows the reason why it does or how I can pin point the problem it happens next time?

What version of Firefox are you running?

What is the URL of the website where it is crashing?

Have you tried clearing out the cache?

Are you using extensions, and, if so, are they up to date?

Your way behind on FF, the latest version is 3.5.5

    Try updating FF.

Yeah, update Firefox, then go to Firefox's preferences > Advanced > Update > Click "Automatically download and install the update"

Thanks guys, I updated the version. Seshan, somehow the automatically update din't seem to work even when I clicked on them and also added automatically check for updates to Firefox. Even when I restarted the application. I finally downloaded the version on my own and now it is 3.5.5.

I use Snow Leopard + Firefox. The only problem I've had is when I have several tabs opened, I will try and close a few really quickly from left-to-right, and then without moving my cursor, the gray "X" is lined-up to close the next tab as I'm closing them and I click it and it doesn't close. I move the cursor a teeny tiny bit and it will close. Strange, it never used to do that, and DOESN'T do it when I flip over to Windows XP via Bootcamp on my system.
