This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Files on CD/DVD disappearing?

    Hi, I have this weird problem.

    Sometimes, for example, when watching TV shows off a DVD in the internal drive of my iBook, it reads properly and everything, but when it's over and I want to go to the next one, when I click on any file on the disc, they all disappear. I have to eject and re-insert the disc for everything to go back to normal.

    It also happened at other times, but I haven't found the common denominator yet.

    Anyone has experienced this? Any idea?
