I am thinking about upgrading but i read reviews in appstore and now i am stuck.
1. Is it indeed more sluggish and slower?
2. Can i upgrade Sleo > MouLion directly? Is it smooth and easy like installing an update?
3. Is there a chance my gpu will be more optimized (new drivers mb?) cause there are few cases where i am not sure if its really working on its full potential
Any general advices? Like will it eat my battery or kill my cat?

As long as you have 10.6.8, you can upgrade to Mountain Lion. ML is in beta right now, which means it will certainly be slower and not as well optimized.

You can create an installation DVD from the Lion download. However, I don't really think it is necessary as you can perform every task from the boot partition that will be created after Lion is installed.
You might as well wait until Mountain Lion comes out since it is supposed to be released before the end of the year (approximately 1 year after Lion was released). I don't see a point in spending the $30 to upgrade to Lion and then another amount to get Mountain Lion when it comes out. Financially, you would be better off spending money on just one OS upgrade instead of two within a few months. -
It doesn't seem that mountain lion is really going to bring new improvements like Lion (icloud, gestures etc), so I don't see the point in upgrading to it. Frankly, it seems a gimmick to me not to mention that I hate the whole iOS'ification of OS X.

I would also argue that Lion wasn't really that much of an upgrade over SL in terms of everyday use and that all of the gestures and whatnot could be viewed as gimmicks too. Not only that but Lion marks the point where Apple is pushing the iOS form factor onto consumers with the whole app layout.
Either way, it's clear that Lion wasn't meant to be a radical upgrade (i.e. OS X 11) just as Mountain Lion isn't supported to reach that point either. Hence why Lion was only $30 and Mountain Lion will probably be around that price too.
Few fast question about SLeo > MouLion
