    Hi guys!
I have a relatively slim notebook cooler for 13" laptops (have a 11" 2015 MBA) but it is still rather bulky and plastic-y. Is there any super slim notebook cooler for the MBA that anyone can recommend? Some Google searches seemed to turn up one on Amazon, but it's ridiculously gaudy and is covered in blue LED's (bleh)
    Thanks!

Is this for a desk or your lap?

I assume that you want something that's easy to travel with.

My notebook cooler right now consists of four wooden thread spools that I bought from a local craft store for about $0.70 each. It's completely passive. If I need additional cooling, I have an external USB fan that I got from Radio Shack many years ago for $10. It's not thin but it fits quite well. I find that just raising the MBP 1.5 inches greatly improves passive cooling.

I agree with mmoy, since there is no venting at the bottom and extra airflow isn't a big help I just stuck on 4 of those annoying craft feet, but raising it above your work surface even a bit helps somewhat.

This is what I ended up doing, apologies for the late response- works great. Even just the slight vent helps a lot and it doesn't look awful like some of the coolers do.

You don't need a cooler, especially on a machine with a ULV CPU! Save your money for something worthwhile!
