I was on a search to find a new workstation laptop to drive 2 external displays, but I have decided that for me it is just more cost efficient to just invest in a setup for my MBP. I would like to hook my MBP15 up to two external monitors, but I am not sure what cable I need.

I have two DELL U2410's that I will be using, they have a max resolution of 1920x1200. I would like to be able to power these monitors to full resolution too. What device/cable do I need to make this possible. Also, does anyone have any good computer stand recommendation? I love the Hengedock, but I'm not sure I can hook up two monitors to this.

Any suggestions or help would be awesome.

depends what the stand needs to do...

I have a "Lapdawg" clone i got through Amazon for half the price that also has fans in it... you can get all kindsa positions with this thing, wether in bed, or standing on the floor. or even on the desktop

as to the 2 external monitors... I've never looked or messed with doing that, so I'm not sure.

I found out about that Matrox a little earlier, very cool device. I'm glad you linked this page though, I did not know the the triple one couldn't handle 3 1920x1200 monitors - I was about to pickup another U2410 for the hell of it.

"Supports a maximum resolution of 5760x1080 (3x 1920x1080)1, 2 across three monitors; displays attached to TripleHead2Go must run at the same resolution

Supports a maximum resolution of 3840x1200 (2x 1920x1200)2 across two monitors; displays attached to TripleHead2Go must run at the same resolution "
