Running SL 10.6.3 on new i5 mbp.....connecting 3 external hdd's to a usb hub then to the mpb.

Only one of the drives shows up on the desktop (they all show up in disk utility - 1 formatted NTFS, 2 mac journaled). I have enabled the finder to show all external devices on the desktop (Finder > preferences).

When i show all files via the terminal:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false

all 3 hdds show up on the desktop. tried to unhide the drives but couldn't find any command to do it, only to hide files and folders, not drives.

    Any suggestions?
