I can't find a reference to this anywhere and wondered if any of you know off the top of your head how to do this.

I put a CD in at the same time I was opening iTunes and for some reason the CD wasn't recognized by the computer either in iTunes or on the desktop. I have hit the eject cd button on the top right of the keyboard with no response. The computer doesn't seem to know there is a CD in the drive.

Anybody experience this issue before and know off the top of their head what to do?

    Thanks!

Try restarting your computer and hold down the trackpad button during startup.

Found this troubleshooting info from Apple.

Yeah, I usually use google to search - for everything. I already knew about the restart trick, but I found that info page from Apple by searching for 'macbook pro eject'.

    Hope that worked for you.
