How does it work if you go into the Apple store to get your macbook pro? I haven't got a student ID card, but do I need proof of going to college?

Instant but you just missed out on the free ipod by like a few days!!! They checked my ID and took a note of it the register, so I think you need that or maybe a bill/schedule with your name on it but I doubt they will accept. On the website its a free for all, you dont need ID or anything really.

It's fine even if you don't have an ID. For example for those who are starting school but have yet to get an ID. In those cases, an acceptance letter would do just fine.
