For some reason I cannot get duplex printing to work on the Mac.

My printer is a Samsung color laser printer and on Windows, I would use its software to print a certain way (double sided the being the most important).

But on the mac the two sided printing option is grayed out, and I can't seem to install the software on the Mac either.

How do I get duplex printing to work? THis is the one last thing I need to figure out before I can transition to OSX 100%.

Perhaps the software to allow for this is not compatible with MAC.

It happens. Email the company about it. If they realize your fears and tell you that's just how it is. Just dual boot windows with BootCamp.

They are enhanced opensource printer drivers for OS X. Chances are they will have support for the functions of your printer that are not supported by the default OS X drivers.
