Apple wants to be different for the sake of being different making mouse that are useless.

My iMac came with that horrible white mouse that is totally useless and painful to say the least.

Now i have to put up with the track pad in the mbp lol.

I dont know whose making the advert - " I am a Mac I am a PC" or something along that line, i think it's low class who ever made that advert.

My stupid rant because i really hate Apple's mouse.

The multitouch trackpad is actually quite nice to use and the new glass ones have a great texture to them. The whole "buttonless" thing is a bit hit or miss but it really isn't THAT bad.

the track pad isn't so bad but god i hate that apple white mouse it has no right click nothing nada.

I had to use microsoft mouse because it has right click and it's not trying to be different for the sake of being different.

No right click button, but you can two-finger tap or two fingers and press the button for the same thing.

edit: I meant on the touchpad.

Erm...the Mighty Mouse has a right click. Try tapping your finger on the right side of the scroll ball, or go into System Prefs>Keyboard/Mouse to set it up.

I bought the new Unibody MacBook and I absolutely love the glass trackpad. I don't miss the button at all and I love the sheer size of it.

Now I just have to find a buyer for my MacBook Air!!

Does the glass trackpad "click" or push down, in other words, is the whole trackpad one big button?

I'm sorry, but I just hate it when people come here and rant ( Tyrone being the culprit) about things they hate that the Mac doesn't do when it actually DOES do it but they are too lazy to figure it out for themselves. If some of you stop looking at the Macintosh as a pretty decoration and actually USE it like you would use your Windows PC computers you'd find out that your Mac can do a lot more than you expected.
PLEASE use the Help menu before posting rants.
From the Finder choose "Help" in the menu bar and type in "Right Click" and it gives you options on how to use the trackpad and the mighty mouse and how to change and use the multi-button mighty mouse.
Please Tyrone, exhaust all options (in other words USE the computer) before posting rants.

The lower half of the trackpad "clicks". You can also set OSX to identify a click in the extreme lower right/left as a secondary click.

Keyboard and mouse were the first things to be replaced on my iMac. Replaced with the Logitech S530. Works wonderful and does everything that I need it to do.

And after playing around with the touchpad on my wife's new MBP, I gotta say that its pretty freaking cool. The feel/texture of it is 10x better than on my MBP

Ah I see. Have to have that tactile feedback. I don't think I'd like that, I'd prefer a touchscreen like touchpad.

In System Preferences you can set the Trackpad to do all functions by tap including the click.

Same here, 2 finger tapping and 2 finger scrolling has really grown into me.
The trackpad is very sensitive and smooth(with enough texture) and very large surface, so it's great.

LOL I tried 2 finger scrolling on my Asus after using my new MacBook Pro for about a month.

If little things like this get you all worked up I wonder how you deal with real life issues.

There are plenty of anger management courses out there for free if you can't afford one.

    Good luck.

    God bless you.

P.S: FYI not everyone thinks like a geek.

agreed, the moderators really need to get on top of these posts, atleast 50% of this forum is filled with these wonderful "questions" about things that could be answered by simply using the computer for 30 mins or spending 10 seconds on Apple's website.

people really need to stop answering and just provide a simple link:

    www.apple.com/mac
    www.apple.com/support

    www.apple.com/learnsomethingnewallbyyourself! ^_^

if I have offended someone, don't worry, I am really not the nicest person in the world.

seriously now. In the end this is a forum about Notebook Reviews, not end all tech support, and you will get MUCH better answers by simply going to Apple's website at least 99% of the time.

how do you think people that are answering these posts know what they know? I can assure you they eventually learned to find their own resources.
