I'm not a big fan of having a single menu bar at the top of the screen (I'm primarily a Windows user but also use Mac to support some customers)... but it's especially annoying with a dual monitor setup... because if I have two separate applications on different monitors I have to move my mouse all the way back to the "primary" monitor in order to make menu selections for the application on the "secondary" monitor...

Is there a way to make the menu bar at least float from one monitor to the next depending on where your mouse is?? Seems like an intuitive design decision to make this at least an option... also, is there an option to let each application window have its own menu instead of sharing a single menu at the top of the screen? Sometimes an app is at the bottom of the screen (I'm talking about a 30+" monitor) and it doesn't make sense to move the mouse all the way to the top to select a menu option if the app only takes up a small portion of the window... such as a terminal window running in the lower right corner of the system?

    Thanks.

    Cliff.

Not that I know of. I don't feel that apple has really... taken advantage of dual monitors.
Front row doesn't work properly with dual displays. I have funny issues putting certain things on the 2nd display on occasion.
But yeah, they really to work on having a context menu for a program be on the other screen.
I think there is a program that will allow you to move the menu bar, but unfortunantly, it won't let you have one just for the program while keeping the main one on the primary display.
Sorry if thats a bit hard to understand... I'm tired.
