This thread posted weird, here is OP.

I'm just wondering if there are any dual display solutions for thunderbolt that work as well as if Apple had two output display ports. I was wondering if there were plans to develop a dual HDMI thunderbolt adapter or something along those lines. With the daisy chaining it seems like that would be possible and it would be an easy way to get true dual monitor support.

I've heard of the Matrox Dual head, but that seems to just extend your display to be twice as wide. I don't want that, I want true dual monitor support. I know you can do it on the 27" but I don't want to spend 2 grand on dual monitors, I'd rather spend about $600. Also I don't think I have space for dual 27" monitors.

If there are no dual display solutions, does Dell and other monitor companies have plans to include Thunderbolt ports on their monitors which support daisy chaining? To be honest, the one thing I don't like about my mac is that Apple didn't spend the $1 to spring for a HDMI port, making dual monitors really difficult to set up.

not yet, and TBH. you can do true dual screens and not just mirroring with the matrox dualhead and triple head. but and heres the big one, Lion and ML, take a huge performance kick running USB external displays, your better bootcamping or waiting for some kind of TB to dual DVI/DP adaptor
