Does putting your laptop into sleep mode work well in Windows 7 (bootcamp) on a Macbook Pro?

Or would I need to power down and boot into windows 7 every time I want to use it?

    Thanks!

You can sleep just fine in W7, its like a real W7 install.

That might be why he asked. For me, including W7, Windows historically has never been great at sleep. The system becomes unstable after a short time and a restart is generally required. We have 4 W7 machines at our office and all of them have trouble with sleep. Our OS X machines sleep flawlessly.

    That is nice to know..

I knew some features might not work under windows 7, like switchable graphics, but I just wanted to make sure sleep mode works good before I get one. I will need to use it a lot and I can not afford an SSD right now, so it is pretty important to me..

I have had problems out of my pc laptops before with sleep also.. Luckly, mine eventually got fixed after some unknown combination of windows and driver updates.

    Thanks!

Sleep in win 7 seems to work fine on my MBA. Been sleeping it at least twice a day for a month without ever restarting.
