Just reset my wireless router, it's asking whether the wireless card I've supports WPA2 or not? Does the airport card in MBA 1st generation support this? Can someone please clarify?
Thank you in advance!

The MBA is just over a year old so I would say yes.

without a doubt

It most surely does, as the Broadcomm wireless card supports are branches of wireless a, wireless b. wireless G, and Wireless N. Built-in AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi wireless networking (based on IEEE 802.11n draft specification); IEEE 802.11a/b/g compatible. It will be compatible with a wide range of securities such as WPA2, WPA, etc.

The Crapbook Air will absolutely support WPA2, practically everywhere I was using it was WPA2.
...Of course, whether it can actually pick up a signal where any number of non-Apples can is another matter entirely. -

Thanks to all for providing helpful inputs,
I just tested WPA2 and indeed the MBA does support it. -
Vogelbung, your reply was helpful too but there's no need to deteriorate the products name. -

I do note with a certain degree of predictable interest that if I chime in on problems with other - less problematic it has to be said - machines while making comments in other subforums, it doesn't seem to be taken up in this manner.
You may be mistaking me for some sort of troll, as opposed to someone who can usually smell BS a mile away... but, dang it, fell for it at the Intel switch. -
Vogelbung, try going to the Windows forum and answering everyone's questions while referring to windows as "Winblows" and BSOD's, and see what happens....

Don't make me close this thread and infract you all.

Jesus, so the whole community are trolls?! What have we done! -
