    Does Airport Extreme have a firewall?

    Does the Apple Airport Extreme have a firewall? And if it does, does anyone might know how to configure it?

    So yes, it does have a Firewall. And its configured by default :).

    A router is in effect a hardware firewall. It takes an incoming packet and distributes it to the correct computer on the network. If a packet is not requested it is dropped, hence a firewall.
