Simple enough, post up some images of your Dock (Cmd+Alt+4, Press Space Bar and Hover over the dock to snap a shot).

It is always interesting to see what applications and workflows people use, so feel free to post your latest dock, icons, apps, etc.

here's what I have been working with lately:

here's my latest, a few of my own custom apps, icons, indicators, etc. and all the apps I use on a day to day basis.

and a little more classic finder icon, although I am really loving my laughing man one.

feel free to ask me about any of the apps I am using, or anything involving my dock.

Maya 2008 - and if you don't know what Maya is, you should be more on the the ball! ^_^

all these images are hosted with my .Mac/MobileMe in limbo account, so it is nice that they are still uploading correctly without having to re-connect them all.

    press command-shift-4

your cursor should turn into a pair of cross hairs.

then press the space bar and select the dock (it should highlight when you move the camera cursor on it).

I guess I just like to keep mine empty, and its hidden. Spotlight lets me open programs quicker then clicking them. And I was seeding someinthg, so thats why Azureus was open. Otherwise its 1 less item ;p

I wondered when someone was gonna pick up on that. I work for one of those companies that prefers to send 200 emails about a problem than just tapping someone on the shoulder and asking them about it in person. Kinda like Office Space and the TPS reports. It may end just like the movie did. Does anyone have a red stapler icon. :)

I see people here are saying they have IE7? Where can I get IE 7 for the mac? There are a few websites that require IE.

They discontinued IE for Mac a long time ago. So you can't. They are probably using Windows.

Also, whoever designs a website to only work on IE should be slapped.

here is my dock with just custom icons, for the most part:

Finder, Automator, Firefox, Safari Copy (that open's up school animation Wiki), Preview, My own app (to open Screen sharing on my Fujitsu N6210), another of my own apps " fn", another one " hide" (to show/hide hidden files), Software Update, System Preferences (standard), Home Folder Icon/Stack, Projects Folder Icon/Stack, Content Library Icon/Stack, Apple Icon/Stack (that is all I can tell you without killing you), Frame Sexer, an automator workflow I made and use to adjust large amounts of scanned in hand drawn frames, Airport Disk (and Timemachine) volume icon/stack, Networked Fujitsu Icon/Stack, Stack Drawers, I think that is all, this is never really what my dock looks like, it usually resembles my original post, but it is cool to see all of this stuff together.

all icons were created or developed from an existing icon, by me.

    updated mine a little bit:

    click for full image

darkened up the dock color to better suit the rest of my system, and my new indicators, and honestly now that I have done it, I really think apple should consider doing this system wide, just darkening it a hair really helps clear up exactly what is going on with each icon.

oh! also made some new iChat and iTunes icons to better suit my overall theme I have been working on.

My guess would be to restore the original files from the backup that the site suggests you make
