I am still exploring my different options on the various browsers on the Mac OS.
I am a Firefox convert for the most part, and I really do not use Safari.
I saw Camino is just for the Mac. How much better is the Camino over the Firefox browser?

camino is the same thing as firefox, just has a more os x feel to it (look at the icons and stuff), if you need the add ons stick with firefox, otherwise stick with camino, better integration with os x and lightweight as well.
-
by the same thing, i mean it uses the same engine to render pages
-
My main add on is No Scripts.
I also use Tabbed Browsing.
Are those in Caminio? -
I haven't followed the Camino releases in a while but they used to lag Firefox for a while. Considerations for switching to Camino can be found at the page below. You could ask at the mozillazine.org forums.

since v 3.0, firefox has been considerably more mac friendly than before.
i vote firefox. -
I vote chrome! Oh... wait....
Yeah I use firefox. It's good.
You could also check out stainless, it's like chrome. Each tab is it's own process like chrome, but it's still not chrome. -
I no its not an option but safari is my main browser.. it works well and does everything I need... but I sometimes use firefox so I guess its my 2nd choice.

Firefox 3 is cool, but Safari is not bad either with the latest release.
cheers ... -
I use Safari and Camino.
-
Firefox for me.
-
Firefox works great for me, and is my #1 web browser. Camino seems a bit light, but FireFox has the plug-ins to be effective but not heavy either.
-
i would say firefox
-
i use Firefox since i come from pc world and i'm used to it...
-
Firefox is the best browser for many reasons in my opinion. The main ones being easy additions with great add-ons, and the other is constant development. Not to mention how nicely integrated the latest version is, you can do everything you need with one large address bar basically.
-
Firefox is not as good as it is on windows. sad to say. I gotta say they failed firefox on the mac if you ask me
-
What don't you like about Firefox on the Mac? Mozilla hired a Mac guy a few years ago (Josh) and most of the full-time developers that I've seen use Macs as their platforms. They might be running Linux on them though. A lot of the developers are more familiar with Linux and Windows - Mac OSX is not the most comfortable environment for them but it's the nicest hardware platform.
Their build and test systems are Mac Minis.
Here's a picture of a conference room with one of the sessions from Mozilla Summit 2008:
If you were in the main auditorium with the place filled with engineers, you would have felt like you were at a Mac convention. -
the two on the left must be the wierdo's
-
Firefox is excellent on Windows and Linux. Firefox is getting better on OS X, but it could still be better. Despite some problems, I still prefer Firefox over Safari on Macs.
-
I saw a picture on here a while back that had a full auditorium full of Macbook's and MBP's. It was a thing of beauty...
Do you recommend the Camino or the Mozilla Firefox on the Mac OS X
